Dione Disc is inserted into the vaginal canal towards your cervix. Then it rests on your pubic bone. It is placed just beneath your cervix and collects blood into its body allowing you to enjoy your every-day activities for at least 12 hours. Make use that you disinfect Dione Disc before first use and between periods. To clean it between emptying and inserting again soap and water is enough. Some menstruators find it difficult to use menstrual cups as it does not open properly and cause leakage. Dione Disc does not use suction to stay in place, it is tucked against your pubic bone which allows it to naturally adapt to your body and some might find it much more comfortable and easier to use than cup. 1: What size is good for me?

 

We are aware that we all different when it comes to our bodies. Dione Disc comes in two sizes:

 

Small (blue): 67 x 60 x 31 mm (length x weight x height), and

 Large (pink): 76 x 65 x 34 mm (length x weight x height).

We recommend small size for those with short cervix and for teenage menstruators without sexual history. The large size is recommended for those with longer cervix and/or multiple child births. Also, size small is more recommended for strong focus on activities with your partner as it takes less space inside your vaginal canal.

Yes, the packaging is 100% bio-degradable and plastic-free.

 

3: For how long can I use it?

 

Dione Disc can collect blood for up to 12 hours and can last up to 10 years.

 

4: While urinating I can see blood. Is it normal?

 

Yes, it is normal. Because of our anatomy, while urinating the muscle tension cause the disc slightly changes it position causing it to self-emptying. Just make sure to place it tuck it back against your pubic bone again and you are ready to go. Some might experience no need of retucking it.

 

5: Can I use it with my partner?

 

YES! Dione Disc offers you mess-free activities with your partner. Please, make sure to empty the Dione Disc just before for better experience. We also recommend smaller size for a strong focus on such activities.

8: I am a teenager, is it safe to use for me?

 

Of course! Dione Disc is safe to use for teenagers. We advise using the small size for those not having experience with using menstrual cups or tampons before. Small size would also be a better choice for those not feeling comfortable with inserting it. However, everybody is different and large size might be a better fit. 9: Does it hurt to tuck it against the pubic bone?

 

Not at all! We are aware that this might sound quite scary and repelling but it is natural and super easy to feel your pubic bone inside you. Normally you wouldn’t realise it is there.

 

10: Is it hard to use?

 

No, it is not! Some might find Dione Disc easier to use than tampons, because of its super soft silicone, and some might find it way easier to use than menstrual cups because it does not use suction as its main mean of staying inside. However, everyone’s body is different, and some menstruators might find Dione Disc not for them. Bear in mind that practising makes it better. With time you will get to know which position suits you better. Don’t give up on trying!

 

11: Can I return it?

 

Yes. You can return Dione Disc within 14 days from receiving your product. To do so please contact us via our website or email contact@overthefullmonn.com providing your order number. We will process your return within next 14-30 days depending on your location. Due to high volume of enquiries we will do our best to process your return as fast as possible. If your return is granted, we will provide you the shipping address to send the product back. We kindly ask you to cover the shipping fees. Unfortunately, due to sanitary reasons we are unable to process returns where the menstrual disc bio-degradable bag was open. To successfully return the disc it has to be in unused conditions.
